The Gravity Blanket Review

One of the more well-known weighted blanket options out there, Gravity Blanket enjoyed immense success on Kickstarter, raising more than $4.7 million during its fundraising campaign (its goal was only $21,500). The technology behind Gravity Blankets is based on sleep science and research from entities such as The Journal of Occupational Therapy in Mental Health and the Journal of Sleep Medicine & DIsorders.

Now, this blanket is being sold to the masses. Gravity Blankets are 4' by 6' and are available in 15, 20, and 25 pound weights. The blanket comes with a removable duvet and both components are machine washable. That said, we don't recommend tossing the actual weighted blanket into the washer, it's just too heavy for most machines to handle.

The duvet is made from a soft microfiber fabric for optimal snuggling, and has internal clasps to keep the blanket in place.

The blanket itself has gridded stitching to ensure its internal microbeads are evenly distributed throughout, optimizing the blankets therapeutic capabilities.

Additionally, both the blanket and duvet are made of breathable materials so that users don't overheat on warm nights.
